Timeframe really varies depending on the project, so I will discuss your deadline with you from the start. I will always meet a deadline that is promised. I will get your website completed (and live) as quickly as possible after I have all the information I need from you. Average turnaround after I have all of the info including files, images and business details 3-4 weeks.

Working with a freelance designer means you will be part of the decision-making process as much or as little as you want. I want you to be 100% happy with the final product and will work with you to make sure you are!​ If you're happy to leave me to it, great! Yes! Your website ownerships will be transferred to you at the completion of the project. Along with all the key information you need going forward, such as you domain host information, web hosting platform and anything else you need. And I'm just an email away if you have questions at any time after your site goes live.

Using the house/land analogy: Hosting is like the land your house sits on, the website is your house. So without the land below your house your website cannot be hosted or supported. No land = no house No hosting = no website So yes you need it 😉

Your site will be optimised for on-page and technical SEO. I will build your site on a third-party platform such as WIX, WIXStudio, Shopify or Kajabi (depending on your needs). This enables you to take complete control of making updates quickly and easily (if you want to). You will have complete ownership of your site which means you have full control. I offer optional training sessions at the end of the project to show you the basics of how to make updates and you will be on your way! ​ If DIY is not for you? Aftercare packages are available. SEO is Search Engine Optimisation. It's the name given to the things we do to OPTIMIZE your website in a way that helps it to be found by search engines (like GOOGLE). It's super complicated and somewhat secretive - as nobody really knows the absolute formula to how to rank on the top of Google (true story). But there are some basic rules to follow and settings to implement to at least get started, and help out with getting your site found in search. ​ SEO is a specialist area of marketing and using this as your main marketing strategy requires an SEO expert who would monitor and adjust your SEO on an ongoing basis. ​ But don't panic! You can do other things to market your business, such as social media ads and other organic (free) traffic building - it just takes time and some know-how. FUN FACT: There are over 200 so-called 'ranking factors' within the Google ranking algorithm and it's not a set-and-forget situation. It's something that needs to be monitored and adjusted on an ongoing basis to really see those results. I implement on-page and on-site level SEO optimizations to get you started, submit your site for indexing to Google, and make your site SEO friendly.
